At Hanoi Pho 21, we celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Vietnam’s capital with every bowl we serve. From the aromatic broth of our traditional beef pho to the bold twist of dry pho with special sauce, each dish is crafted with care, using time-honored recipes and fresh ingredients.

Our story begins with a family recipe carried from the narrow streets of Hanoi's old quarter to a small kitchen on Paul Street. We cook the way it's done back home - beef bones and charred ginger simmered for 21 hours, until the broth turns clear, fragrant, and deep. No shortcuts, no powders. Just patience, and a recipe that has fed our family for generations.

Every day starts before the doors open: baguettes baked crisp for our banh mi, herbs picked and washed by hand, sauces mixed in small batches. Whether you drop in for a quick lunch or gather friends around the table for dinner, we want every visit to taste like home - a little piece of Hanoi, served hot in the heart of London.
First time to finish pho in one seating! We each ordered chicken breast and beef brisket pho, spring rolls, and salted cream coffee. Everything was soo tasty and the portions were just right. Prices were also very reasonable and the service was quick. This is now our favourite Vietnamese restaurant!
Lovely homemade food & quick service. Pho is really tasty, coffee is good too. They have different items on menu which looked delicious, sadly I was too full already. If in the area will come back. A gem!
First visit I ordered pork with rice and vietnamese coffee. The dish was nice and generous portion. Coffee was also nice. Second visit I got beef pho, the broth was tasty. The beef was soft. I also like the way they packed the takeaways. I havent dined in the restaurant yet, its always busy when I visited. The staffs were nice and friendly
Impressively, the staff greeted me with smiles and helped me choose a dish. The beef pho was so good — the broth, as they said, had been simmered for 21 hours. It had a deep, mellow flavour, and the beef was of great quality. At £10, this delicious bowl is an amazing bargain in London. Highly recommend!
Quality food at a reasonable price. I really enjoyed the decor inside the restaurant, and I learned a lot from the posters on the wall. It’s well located near hotels and a not so short walk from Old Street/Liverpool street. There’s no surprise why it’s so popular - it’s authentic and made with care. Around 10 minutes from order to food served. Even though it got busy, I felt comfortable in my own space to read and play cards. I suggest going after the afternoon rush as it gets cosy easily! It’s great if you’re a solo diner like me or you’re on date night with a friend or a loved one.
